 IPOB CONDEMN THE INVASION AND DESTRUCTION IN IBIASOEGBE PEACEFUL COMMUNITY BY COMBINED TEAM OF NIGERIA SECURITY FORCES- IPOB. 



The global family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the command and leadership of our great leader Mazi Nnamdi KANU totally condemn the invasion and destruction of lives and properties in Ibiasoegbe peaceful Community of Oru West in Imo State by Combined team of Nigeria Security Forces.


Ibiasoegbe is a peaceful community in Oru West, Imo State, without any evidence of  criminal activities by unknown gunmen or any other criminal group. In the early hours of Tuesday, 21st of February, 2023, a combined team of Nigeria terrorists in uniforms made up of Nigeria Army, Police, DSS, including Ebebuagu militia invaded Ibiasoegbe peaceful Community. These terrorist Security Agents abducted the youths they could lay their hands on, and some young men were gunned down as well. They destroyed the Ibiasoegbe Community Center built by the people of the community. They equally destroyed all the security cameras in the town in order to cover up their nefarious activities. Unfortunately for them, some hidden cameras captured them live while they  carried out their terrorist activities. In what is termed an abomination in the Igbo culture, these murderous Nigeria Security Agents destroyed and set ablaze the ancient sacred shrine of the Ibiasoegbe Community. The destruction and burning of the sacred Community Shrine is against the freedom of worship as ascribed in the supposed Nigeria Constitution.


The reasons for engaging the Combined Team of Nigeria Security forces by Hope Uzodinma to terrorise Ibiasoegbe and many other communites around them in Imo State is what Ndi Igbo have failed to understand. What are the sins of these peaceful communities in Igbo Land that warranted military onslaught? How many Northern villages have been invaded, killed, and sacked by the Nigeria Security Forces even with all the terrorism and banditry going on in the North?


It's very sad and barbaric that the Nigeria government have decided to levy unannounced war on the innocent communites in Igbo Land so as to intimidate the youths of the communites to vacate their ancestorial homes. This is a ploy to pave the way for Fulani terrorists to invade these communites without resistance. Many villagers in Igbo land are living in fear of two armed terrorist forces (The Nigeria Security Forces and Fulani  armed terrorist herdsmen). Many communites have been deserted due to indiscriminate killing either by Nigeria Security Forces and their collaborators called unknown gunmen and the murderous Fulani terrorists parading as herdsmen.  


Irrespective of all the provocations, assaults, illegal abductions,  incarcerations, and mass murder of Biafran Igbos, our people have remained peaceful while looking forward to the day we shall exit this strangulating and choking union called Nigeria. There is so much hatred against Biafrans, especially the Igbo speaking Biafrans, that the longer Biafra stays in Nigeria,  the less chance they have of survival. The Igbos have become endangered species, yet the same Nigeria that hates Biafrans continues to lobby the world to stop Biafra exit from Nigeria by not allowing a referendum.


The Biafra exit from this unholy and bloody union called Nigeria is what IPOB is fighting for. This is to prevent our generations from being decimated by the Nigeria bigoted Security Forces. Biafra referendum that will be supervised by The United Nations is what we ask for, and THAT, we shall get by the grace of Chukwu Okike Abiama.
